June 2003-October 2004: ATEK Construction, Inc.

·               Construction Manager for the construction of school districts’ projects.  Responsibilities include day-to-day supervision and monitoring of overall work schedule, work activities by subcontractors, quality control of all facets of the project, and coordination of project activities with the superintendent.

·               Construction Superintendent/Project and Construction Manager for a 6000 sq. ft. custom home.  Pre-construction activities include design reviews, bid solicitation and evaluation, scheduling, permitting, and coordination with owner, architects, engineers, and government authorities.  Construction activities include grading, compacting, inspection, steel and concrete structures, framing, plumbing, roofing, electrical, HVAC, and all other components of the custom home.

1970-2003 Owner of Omar Taha Architectural & Construction Company - Lebanon

As an architect and owner, designed and constructed multi-level residential buildings up to 10-storey and 20-apartments with underground and ground level commercial facilities.
